Information About Florence

Florence

Florence is known as the ‘Cradle of the Renaissance’, and as you might imagine from the title, it is an architectural marvel.

The Duomo, the city’s domed cathedral, is perhaps the crowning glory, not to mention the Ponte Vecchio, a fifteenth century bridge supporting a multitude of shops held up by stilts.

The host of museums, parks, galleries and squares to be viewed are simply too many to list.
